Planning Committee

Nicole Pinto, Chair

Manager, Program and Readiness – Ontario Emergency Medical Assistance Team (EMAT) – Sunnybrook

Message from the Chair

Dear Colleagues and Friends,

It is my pleasure to welcome you to DEMCON 2025! In a world where disasters, disruptions, emergency incidents, humanitarian crises, etc., have been at the forefront, it is important for emergency management professionals – those who have dedicated their lives to lead in times of need, to gather and impart knowledge. The Ontario Disaster and Emergency Management Conference brings our emergency management community together – a place where we can share stories, lessons learned and network with our peers, as well as reconnect with old friends. I hope you enjoy these two wonderful days that our Planning Committee has worked hard on.
